Musings

Rainouts

Normally, we would complain about rain if it spoiled a race day, however, with the farmers needing moisture for their crops and firefighters praying for rain to settle down the ever present forest fire situations communities face, rain was most welcome this past weekend.

Those venues which cancelled included Devil's Lake Speedway (Western Renegade Sprints),  Yellowhead International Speedway, Yorkton, SK (Season Opener changed to Test & Tune), and Tisdale Motor Speedway (Friday only).

Miller Breaks ASCS Wins Record

Kelly Miller is the King of the Hill!  The Lethbridge, Alberta racer parked his 360 sprint car in victory lane for a record 18th time with the ASCS Frontier Region, as he was victorious at Gallatin Speedway in Belgrade, Montana on Friday night.
